Marathi Children's Songs and Nursery Rhymes

Manichi Pille (A cat's kittens) children's rhyme has been composed by Madhuri Bhide and has been published in Jyotsana Prakashan's Mulanchi Gani. I picked up this book for my child from a local bookstore and loved the poems in it.

आमच्या मनीला
पिले झालीत छान
एक आहे काळे
एक गोरेपान
गोऱ्यापान बाळाचे
डोळे आहेत निळे
काळे काळे पिल्लू
फार करते चाळे
मनीच्या बाळाच
करायच बारस
पाहुण्या माउना
दुध देऊ गारस
गोऱ्या बाळाच
नाव ठेऊ नीलम 
काळ्याच सांगू?
त्याच नाव द्वाडम!
