Marathi Children's Songs and Nursery Rhymes

This nursery rhyme titled Bokad ani Makad  is literally what rhymes for children are all about - rhyming words. It's a cute poem but surely not a great moral lesson.



फिरायला गेला बोकड
धावत आले माकड
 
दोघे गेले हॉटेलात
बसून खाला मटारभात
 
मालक म्हणतो द्या पैसे
दोघांनी मिळून दिले ठोसे
 
माकडाने मारली उडी
पटकन पळवली सुपारीची पुडी
 
दोघे गेले सुपारी खात
मालक बसला चोळत हात
