Children’s song Tai Mhane Mothi was first published in a kid’s magazine years ago. The original writer of this poem is unknown. I found this in Madhuri Bhide’s compilation – Mulanchi Gaani.
ताई म्हणे मोठी आणि मी म्हणे लहान जिथे तिथे जेव्हा तेव्हा ताईचाच मान नवीन पुस्तके तिला पेन्सीली पण तिलाच किती मोठे झाले तरी मी लहान सदाच! ताई सारखी मोठी होणार नवे फ्रॉक तिलाच बरोबर होतात म्हणे जुने फ्रॉक मला असा अगदी राग येतो पण उपयोग काय होणार? अगदी म्हातारे झाले तरी मी लहानच राहणार!
